The layout

How the plan works

One partition does all the dividing. The wet room fills the west end — shower in the corner, toilet, basin and a washing machine along the walls — and takes its light from an 800 mm window set high, with a 1.7 m sill, so the room is daylit without being overlooked. A pocket door serves it, because a swing door here would eat the only circulation the plan has. Everything else is one 13.6 m² space. The kitchen run of counter, sink, hob and fridge lines the north wall under a 1.2 m window; the dinette sits opposite at the matching south window, banquette-style against the wall; and the entrance lands between them on the south side, splitting the plan into a working half and a sleeping half. The double bed takes the east end with the small 800 mm gable window beside it rather than behind the pillows, and the wardrobe faces it across the aisle.
