1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Gridsnap ("the Service"), available at gridsnap.app and editor.gridsnap.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
2. Description of Service
Gridsnap is a browser-based floor plan editor that allows you to create, edit, and export architectural floor plans. The Service includes a free tier and may include paid premium features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Accounts
Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
4. Free and Paid Plans
Gridsnap offers a free tier that includes core floor plan editing features. Premium features may be available through paid subscription plans.
Pricing, feature availability, and plan details are described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
5. Payments and Billing
Your subscription is with Koppe Digital OÜ. Payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe, using Stripe's own hosted checkout — your card details go to Stripe and never pass through Gridsnap. Payment methods available at checkout depend on your region and are determined by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Invoices, plan changes and cancellation are handled in the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from Manage billing in the editor; you can also cancel by contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves paid features active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your use of Stripe's checkout and billing pages is also subject to Stripe's terms and Stripe's Privacy Policy.
6. Refunds
Refunds are issued by us, not by a reseller. If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at hello@gridsnap.app. Refund eligibility for renewals may vary based on applicable laws in your jurisdiction, and any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country apply in addition to this policy.
7. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all floor plans, designs, and other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.
For features that require server-side storage, you grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Koppe Digital OÜ and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Floor plans created with Gridsnap are intended for planning and visualization purposes. They should not be used as a substitute for professional architectural or engineering drawings where required by law or building regulations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koppe Digital OÜ and Gridsnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
Upon termination, your right to use paid features ceases. We will make your data available for export for a reasonable period following termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction.
