Press Share in the top bar, then Create share link, and copy it. Whoever opens the link sees the plan in their browser, marked read-only — no account, no software, nothing to download. Sharing is free.
What the viewer gets
The plan as drawn, with the floor selector, so a multi-storey house can be looked through storey by storey. They cannot change your plan. What they can do is press Duplicate and edit, which gives them their own copy to work on — yours is untouched.
That is usually the right shape for sending a plan to a builder, a partner or a forum: a PDF is a picture of a decision, a share link is the thing itself.
Keeping the link current
A share link carries a snapshot of the plan, not a live view of it. Keep drawing and the link still shows what it was given.
When you want it to catch up, open Share again and press Update link with current plan. The address does not change, so anyone you have already sent it to sees the new version.
What this doesn’t do
- No password or expiry. Anyone with the link can open it, so treat it as public.
- No comments. There is nowhere for the viewer to reply on the drawing.
- Not a live document. Two people cannot edit one plan at once — a duplicate is a separate plan from that moment on.
